Public procurement

What is the DGMP?

The DGMP (Direction Générale des Marchés Publics) is the public procurement control body in Ivory Coast: it validates tender files and awards above the validation thresholds, publishes the BOMP and runs the SIGOMAP platform. Its official marchespublics.ci portal shows tenders. SangoBids aggregates those publications and enriches them with AI analysis.

What is ARCOP (formerly ANRMP)?

ARCOP (the public procurement regulatory authority) replaced the ANRMP (ordinance 2025-32 of 15 January 2025). It is the public procurement regulator in Ivory Coast: it receives appeals against award decisions, sanctions offending companies, keeps the red list of excluded companies and issues the non-payment clearance (quitus de non-redevance) required to bid.

Which documents do I need to bid in Ivory Coast?

Commonly required documents include: the trade register extract (RCCM), the ARCOP non-payment clearance (quitus de non-redevance), the bid bond, the unit price schedule and the bill of quantities and estimate (DQE). Tax and social-security certificates are only required at the approval stage, within 15 days of the award notification. Requirements vary with the tender file, which prevails.

What are the public procurement thresholds in Ivory Coast?

From 100 million F CFA of budget credits (30 million for local authorities), whatever the type of contract, a tender under the Code is required (decree 2021-869). Below that, simplified procedures apply: direct agreement under 10 million, request for quotations from 10 to 30 million, limited competition from 30 to 50 million and open competition from 50 to 100 million.

How do I find tenders in Abidjan?

SangoBids lists every public tender available in Abidjan and the Autonomous District of Abidjan. Filter by the “Abidjan” district in your dashboard. Turn on iPhone notifications or email alerts to be notified as soon as a new contract is published in Abidjan.

What is the BOMP (Bulletin Officiel des Marchés Publics)?

The BOMP is the official public procurement gazette of Ivory Coast, published by the DGMP. It is the mandatory legal outlet for tender notices, procurement plans and results: an open tender not published through it is void. It gathers new tender notices, calls for expressions of interest and the results of evaluated tenders (awards). The BOMP is where contracts appear while they are still open to competition, whereas the marchespublics.ci portal often archives them only several weeks later. SangoBids draws on the BOMP to show you Ivorian tenders while you can still bid on them.

How do I check public procurement results and awards in Ivory Coast?

The results of evaluated tenders are published in the BOMP under the heading “Résultats des appels d'offres jugés”. For each contract you will find the tender number, the subject, the awardee (the winning company), the amount awarded in FCFA, the evaluation date and the contracting authority. Knowing who won which contract and at what price helps you set a realistic target price on upcoming tenders. The SangoBids Pro plan gives access to in-depth awards and price intelligence to position your bid against the market.

How do I read a public contract award notice?

An award notice states the winning company (the awardee), the amount of the contract awarded in FCFA, the lot or lots concerned, the evaluation date and the contracting authority. In a multi-lot contract, each lot can go to a different company. Comparing the amount awarded with the estimated amount in the original notice reveals the price range the administration actually accepted — valuable information for calibrating your future bids.
